Potassium Chloride Supplier & Exporter — Laboratory and MOP Fertilizer Grade
KCl Potassium Chloride · Lab and MOP Grades
Two grades of potassium chloride: a laboratory and pharmaceutical grade assaying 99–100.5% with iodide below 50 ppm, and muriate of potash at 59.09% K₂O for fertilizer blending and as a shale inhibitor in water-based drilling fluid. Both shipped with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.

Grades & Chemical Analysis
Two grades for two markets. The laboratory grade is bought on assay and trace impurities; MOP is bought on potassium oxide content, which is how every fertilizer contract in the world is written. Select a grade to view its full analysis.

MOP is contracted on potassium oxide content, not on chloride assay — 59.09% K₂O corresponds to roughly 93.6% KCl at the standard 0.6317 conversion factor, which is consistent with the certified chloride figure. A batch-specific CoA is issued per shipment.

Applications
Potassium chloride is the world’s potash fertilizer and, at a different purity, an electrolyte and a shale inhibitor.
Potash Fertilizer
Direct-applied MOP, the source of over 90% of world potassium fertilizer.
NPK Blending
Potassium component in bulk-blended and compound fertilizers.
Drilling Fluid Inhibitor
Potassium ion exchange stabilises shale and marl formations.
Pharmaceutical
Potassium supplements, electrolyte and infusion solutions.
Food & Salt Substitute
E508 in low-sodium salt and food processing.
Water Treatment
Regeneration of ion-exchange resins and potassium-based softening.
Potassium Chemicals
Feedstock for potassium hydroxide, carbonate and sulphate.
Reference Electrodes
Saturated KCl bridge solution in pH and reference electrodes.
Metallurgy & Fluxes
Component of aluminium and magnesium salt fluxes.
Packaging, Logistics & Trading Terms
How we bag, certify and ship potassium chloride. Terms can be adapted by agreement — tell us what your operation needs.
- Minimum Order Quantity
- MOP: 1 × 20 ft container (approx. 25 MT) bagged, 500 MT minimum for bulk vessel. Laboratory grade from 1 kg upwards. Trial quantities available.
- Packaging
- MOP in 50 kg PP bags with liner, 1–1.5 MT jumbo bags, or bulk. Laboratory grade in 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg polyethylene containers.
- Incoterms & Loading Ports
- EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF (Incoterms® 2020). Standard loading at Bandar Abbas and Bandar Imam Khomeini; other ports by arrangement.
- Quality Certification
- Batch-specific CoA with every shipment. MOP is certified on K₂O, KCl, chloride and sodium; laboratory grade on assay, iodide, bromide, loss on drying and identification. SGS / Bureau Veritas inspection at buyer’s cost.
- Lead Time
- 7–14 days for standard grades after order confirmation; 15–25 days for custom-milled or specially packed material.
- Storage & Handling
- Store below +30 °C in a dry, covered warehouse on pallets. Potassium chloride is hygroscopic and cakes readily — MOP shipped to a humid destination should carry a moisture-barrier liner, and reagent containers should be resealed between uses. May be irritant; keep away from eyes and broken skin.
Certificate of Analysis
A batch-specific CoA is issued with every shipment. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or an inspector of your choice can be arranged at the buyer’s cost.
