Calcium Carbonate Supplier & Exporter — Ground and Micronized Grades

CaCO₃ Calcite · CaO 55.75%

Bulk ground calcium carbonate — certified at 55.75% CaO with iron held to 0.071%, which is the figure that decides whether it can go into a white paint or a white PVC profile. Supplied ground or micronized, coated or uncoated, with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis per shipment.

Calcium Carbonate — Certified Chemical Analysis

The published analysis in full, sample C403. Calcium sets the value; iron and manganese between them decide whether the powder stays white in whatever it is filling.

If none of the grades above matches your target chemistry, fineness, coating or packaging, tell us your requirements — we produce custom grades to your exact specification.

Applications

Calcium carbonate is bought as a white, inexpensive, chemically inert volume filler — and then judged on the two things that stop it being white: iron and manganese.

Paint & Coatings

Extender controlling opacity, sheen and the titania a formulation has to buy.

Plastics & PVC

Filler in pipe, profile and cable compound, coated for dispersion in the melt.

Paper Coating & Filling

Brightness and printability in coated and filled paper.

Construction Chemicals

Extender in dry mortar, adhesive, sealant and joint compound.

Glass & Ceramics

Calcium source stabilising the melt and the glaze.

Feed & Agriculture

Calcium supplement in compound feed and a liming agent on acid soils.

Packaging, Logistics & Trading Terms

How we mill, bag, certify and ship calcium carbonate. Terms can be adapted by agreement — tell us what your operation needs.

Minimum Order Quantity
1 × 20 ft container (approx. 25 MT) bagged. 500 MT minimum for bulk vessel. Trial quantities available for qualification.
Packaging
25 kg and 50 kg PP bags, 1–1.5 MT woven jumbo bags, or bulk. Micronized grades bagged with a moisture-barrier liner on request.
Incoterms & Loading Ports
EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF (Incoterms® 2020). Standard loading at Bandar Abbas and Bandar Imam Khomeini; other ports by arrangement.
Quality Certification
Batch-specific CoA with every shipment covering CaO, Fe₂O₃, MgO and loss on ignition. SGS / Bureau Veritas inspection at buyer’s cost.
Lead Time
7–14 days for standard grades after order confirmation; 15–25 days for custom-milled, coated or specially packed material.
Storage & Handling
Store under cover on pallets and keep dry. Calcium carbonate is chemically stable with no shelf-life limit, but damp powder cakes in the bag, and a coated grade that has taken up water will not disperse into a polymer melt.

Certificate of Analysis

A batch-specific CoA is issued with every shipment. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or an inspector of your choice can be arranged at the buyer’s cost.

Calcium Carbonate — Frequently Asked Questions

What CaCO₃ purity does 55.75% CaO correspond to?
It depends which way you convert, and the two answers differ by enough to be worth stating rather than averaging. On molar mass, 55.75% CaO is 99.50% CaCO₃. On loss on ignition, 43.23% against the 43.97% a pure carbonate would lose implies 98.31%. A spread of about a point is ordinary for XRF on a carbonate, so we publish the CaO we measured rather than a carbonate figure we did not. If your contract is written on CaCO₃, tell us and we will have the lot titrated and certify against that.
How white is it?
Iron is 0.071% and manganese 0.002% — the two oxides that grey a filler, and both are low. That is the chemical case for it. Brightness itself is a measured optical value and cannot be read off an oxide table, so we do not quote one here. Send your target and we will confirm it on the lot before quoting rather than after.
Do you supply coated calcium carbonate?
Yes, stearate-coated grades are produced to order. The coating is what stops the filler agglomerating in a polymer melt, and it is normally specified for PVC pipe, profile and cable. Tell us the polymer and the loading and we will confirm the coating level the plant can hold.
What particle size can you produce?
Ground and micronized grades are milled to order rather than held to one standard cut. Give us the mesh or the micron top cut your process needs, and the residue you can accept on it, and we will confirm what the mill can hold before quoting.
What is the minimum order quantity for calcium carbonate?
One 20 ft container, approximately 25 MT, for bagged material. Bulk vessel shipments start at 500 MT. Trial quantities can be arranged so you can qualify the powder in your own formulation before committing to a full order.
