Analysis by ASTM C471-M-20 (chemistry) and ASTM C136 (size grading). Purity in a natural deposit varies with the working face and with each blast, so a current sample analysis is issued for every consignment rather than a standing certificate.

Packaging
Raw rock in bulk or 1–1.5 MT jumbo bags; plaster in 25 kg 3-ply laminated PP bags or jumbo bags. Moisture-proof PE lining available on request.
Incoterms & Loading Ports
EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF (Incoterms® 2020). Standard loading at Bandar Abbas and Bandar Imam Khomeini; other ports by arrangement.

Batch-specific CoA with every shipment covering purity as CaSO₄·2H₂O, combined water, SO₃ and oxide impurities. SGS / Bureau Veritas inspection at buyer’s cost.
Lead Time
7–14 days for standard grades after order confirmation; 15–25 days for custom-milled or specially packed material.
Storage & Handling
Store dry and covered. Gypsum is stable but hygroscopic in powder form — keep plaster bags sealed and off the ground, as absorbed moisture starts pre-hydration and shortens working time.

A batch-specific CoA is issued with every shipment. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or an inspector of your choice can be arranged at the buyer’s cost.

Raw Gypsum — Frequently Asked Questions

What purity does a cement plant actually need?
Most Portland cement plants work comfortably with 88–92% CaSO₄·2H₂O, because what matters is delivering enough SO₃ to control C₃A hydration — and our cement grades run SO₃ 42.8–46.3%. Higher purity is worth paying for when the gypsum is going to be calcined into plaster or used as a white filler, where colour and impurity carry-over show up in the finished product.
Why do your published analyses differ from one another?
Because they come from different working faces of a natural deposit, and gypsum purity genuinely varies across a mine and after each blast. We publish three real certificates side by side rather than a single averaged number so you can see the actual spread. For a contracted tonnage we issue a current sample analysis, and buyers are welcome to visit the mine and take their own sample for independent testing.
What size is the material supplied in?
The standard product is 0–50 mm lump, with 100% passing 50 mm on ASTM C136 grading. The premium grade typically runs 93.75% below 50 mm with 6.25% oversize. Other size cuts can be screened to order.
What is combined water and why is it on the certificate?
Combined water is the chemically bound water in the dihydrate crystal — theoretically 20.9% for pure CaSO₄·2H₂O. Measuring it is the most reliable way to confirm you are getting genuine dihydrate rather than partially dehydrated or anhydrite material, which behaves very differently in both cement and calcination. Our grades run 18.2–20.4%.
Can you supply agricultural gypsum?
Yes. For soil conditioning the cement grade is normally the right economic choice — it supplies calcium and sulfate to reclaim sodic soils without shifting pH, and the trace impurities are irrelevant at agricultural application rates. Tell us your target particle size and we will screen accordingly.
Do you also supply calcined plaster?
Yes. See our gypsum plaster grades — 100 mesh base coat and 200 mesh super-micronized finish, tested to BS EN 13279-2 for setting time, compressive and flexural strength.
